SOUTHAVEN - Longtime homebuilder Donnie Chambliss III has made a career transition from home builder to Realtor.

Chambliss has joined Bob Leigh and Associates as a Realtor in their Southaven office.

DESOTO COUNTY - The greenway effort is translating into green - as in dollars for the local economy.

Donnie Chambliss III, a longtime homebuilder and realtor, said the county's well-publicized greenway effort is drawing residents to the state's fastest growing county.

"DeSoto County has the only paid Greenways coordinator in the state," Chambliss said, referring to DeSoto County Greenways Coordinator Larry Jarrett. "Actually, there is no area of life that is not impacted by the thought of a greenway."
